Dr. Allen’s favorite color may be orange, but for the month of October, Dr. Allen’s color of choice is PINK! Why? It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Breast Cancer affects 1 in 8 women in the United States. Everyone knows someone affected by Breast Cancer. Shawna, Dr. Allen’s wife, lost her grandmother and her great grandmother to Breast Cancer. So there is no surprise that Dr. Allen’s family holds the Breast Cancer Awareness initiative close to all of their hearts.
Dr. Allen and the whole Marc Allen Orthodontics team support the Breast Cancer Awareness cause in more ways than one. Dr. Allen has purchased a VIP table at the Pink Soles Ultimate Fall Fashion Event. Pink Soles focuses on the advancement of breast cancer research and awareness.

Dr. Allen also provided the Marc Allen Orthodontics team with PINK shirts that the staff will be rocking for the month of October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. One of Dr. Allen’s friends, Dr. Tommy Kim, lost his sister to Breast Cancer and Dr. Allen donated on behalf of Dr. Kim’s sister to show support to find a cure to breast cancer.
