Dr. Allen’s childhood family farm in Greenwood, SC doesn’t hold a candle to the Gilbert Family Farm in Lincoln County.
With the guidance of her Dad, the love of her son, Garrett, and the verbal abuse of her brother (lol), Katrina Gilbert has mastered the art of driving a Gator, riding a horse, breaking a horse, roping a cow, driving a Deere, running barrels, and cooking a feast worthy of pinning on Marc Allen Orthodontic’s Pinterest page.
For six years, we’ve benefited daily from Katrina’s ability to deliver 14 years of orthodontic experience. She drives 48 miles to work every day, on top of nearly 70 miles to Elevation Church each Sunday, and across her 300 acre farm every Saturday to find her son out riding his 4-wheeler.
“Several people have asked ‘Can you not find anything closer to where you live?’” Katrina shares. “Well, of course I could, but I would never dream of it! My job, Dr Allen, and all my co-workers are part of my family, which is very important to me. I would not change a thing!”
We are blessed to have such talent and dedication in our office. Katrina’s inner happiness keeps us all smiling and focused on refining our accents.
