Your Initial Consultation
Dr. Marc Allen and our Treatment Coordinator will meet with you during your first visit to discuss your orthodontic needs. We’ll take various X-rays and real and digital images of your teeth, and gather your historical input to ensure we have a complete picture of your dental health. Based on this information, Dr. Allen will present several treatment options, with a thorough explanation of his top recommendation for you.

What Comes Next?
Treatment can begin as early as the same day as your initial consultation, depending on your needs. We’ll discuss your options and, if treatment is recommended, set up the next steps to get started.
What About Treatment Costs?
Treatment costs vary depending on the complexity of the issue. If treatment is needed, our Treatment Coordinator will discuss the costs associated with your treatment and work with you to find the best payment plan based on your needs and preferences.
We offer flexible payment plans to accommodate different budgets and accept most insurance assignments. Our goal is to make orthodontic care affordable and accessible, helping you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted.
Please note that changes in the ability to achieve the initial treatment goal may lead to additional fees. Factors such as noncompliance with recommended tasks, the need for new restorative dental work, or the loss of appliances due to patient carelessness may require additional charges.
What Does Your Investment Cover?
Your investment includes:
- Orthodontic Records: X-rays, study models, and a personalized growth study to guide your treatment plan.
- Active Treatment Fee: Covers both early and comprehensive treatment options, including braces or Invisalign. This includes all appliances, office visits, and procedures performed in our office. Appliances are designed to last throughout the treatment period, but an additional fee may apply if replacement is needed due to loss, breakage, or misuse.
- Final Retainers: Upon completion of comprehensive (Phase II) treatment, a set of final retainers will be provided. Replacement retainers are available for an additional fee if they are lost or broken.
What Is Not Included in Your Investment?
- Work by Other Dentists: Any procedures performed at other dental offices.
- Additional Costs: If an injury or complication arises during treatment that requires further orthodontics or surgery, additional fees may be necessary.
Assignment of Benefits
We accept the assignment of benefits from most insurance plans, which can significantly reduce out-of-pocket expenses. If we do not accept assignments from your plan, we will assist you with filing claims so that you can receive direct reimbursement. Please notify us of any changes to your insurance policy before full payment so we can adjust your contract accordingly.
